Summary

Rebecca Bloomwood loves shopping, not just clothing and anything could be her target. But the biggest problem is her income can't affort her expenditure. she went out of control and was in debt. Her life became a mess and she tried to cut back and make more money. But can she control herself and solve the problems?

My thoughts

I have mixed feelings about this book because of the main character- Rebecca Bloomwood. I hate her being annoyed sometimes .However, She is nice and kind.So she is just like a real person, has merits and demerits, doesn't like an imaginary character.

At first, I thought it was just a story about a girl who loves shopping and went out of control. But it is also about grow up, friendships and so on.At the end of the story, it told that run away didn't help with the problem. The only way to solve the problem is to be brave and face it.

In addition, the book is funny. You would laugh when Rebecca has some impracticable thought or  having some excuses to shopping .The personality of Rebecca make the story become more interesting.

Finally, I love the writing style. I appreciate that Sophie apply some metaphor and simile on the book. It makes the feelings become more specific. When I was reading, I understood the character's feelings easily.
